I'm a life-long Alaskan and college student. I work a part time day job and provide pet care on the side.
I have attended a one year Veterinary Assisting program at Apollo College in Portland, OR, worked as a Veterinary Assistant at College Village Animal Clinic here in Anchorage and was Assistant Manager at No Bonz About It, a doggy daycare in Portland, OR. I have excellent references from pet owners I have provided pet care for here in Anchorage and an energetic six year old dog who can come along if you have a puppy in need of some play to wear him/her out!

What I have to offer:
Pet Sitting and Care: Walks, overnights (in your home), meds, bathing, basic grooming, nail trims, anal sac expression, basic training, love! (I have experience with pets needing special care such as those with paralysis and those that require various types of injections)
House Sitting: Plant care, cleaning, mail etc.

Cat boarding-$10 a day
( I only board one cat at a time unless already living together to prevent spread of disease so make sure to call asap to reserve a spot)

I have experience with pitbulls and love them!! So if you need your dog(s) watched for a couple days, nights, or even weeks I am ready. I will treat them as if they are my own. They will not live in a kennel but instead be able to run around the house. I am a military spouse and am also willing to watch a deployee's pet. Boarding houses can be expensive and extremely stressful on both you AND the animal. Wouldn't it be nice if you could just leave your animal at the house where they are comfortable--able to continue on their OWN schedule without having to be stuck in a kennel 24/7? I can take care of hamsters, ferrets guinea pigs, dogs, turtles, fish, geckos, iguanas, and more. You can drop your pet(s) off at my house, I can take care of it 24/7. Are you going out of town and don't want to leave your pet at a kennel while you're gone? Let me come and spend that time with your pet and I will give it all of the attention it deserves. I take care of dogs, cats and anything else. I have taken care of animals that are sick and animals that have been injured. Big dog? No problem! I love big dogs. If your dog is between 2 lbs and 200 lbs I will love it just the same.
I usually charge $20 a day which includes me staying at the house, walking your dog 2-3 times a day and giving it lots of attention as well as keeping tracks in your driveway, getting the mail, feeding the kitty and taking out the trash. However if you only have a kitty or small animal I will charge less, we can talk about that together.
