Black Ball List
This list is only for people who do not follow thru with their contract or write bad checks. I will post their name here after attempting to rectify the situation and it will not be removed until the offense has been corrected.
Chuck Rockett
Emmy was run over and brutally killed, in my driveway by Chuck. Zeke and Buddy were injured as well by rocks flying out from his tires as he peeled out. He was teasing my dogs by revving his thunderous engine over and over again as he laughed and tore up my drive way. His comment when told of his deed.
"You should have had them chained up."
In my opinion Chuk is a thoughtless, inconsiderate, drug dealer with absolutely no consideration for others lives. My dogs were in my yard where they have always been safe. There is no excuse for such behavior.
Rest in peace Emmy Loo
Mama loves you
Katie Rogers of Kountry Thyme Terriers
(Since this post Katie has gone out of business as a dog breeder. She is now focusing on her family.)
I purchased two adult female "English" Jack Russells from Mrs. Rogers. One, I had bred by her male prior to shipping. The other I chose to purchase just a few days prior to departure, to make the transition easier on the first.
I recieved two very sick and scittish dogs. They had many problems including yeast infection, tape worms, dehydration, malnurishment, extremely excessive plaque (that of a 9 year old) inflamed gums, ribs, hips, and back bones showing, and a tick.
Just prior to giving birth, the first female died. Mrs Rogers denies any problems with these dogs although she states that it is impossible to control the bugs and parasites were she lives and states that she has never had a dog with tape worms. Mrs. Rogers had at least 44 dogs that I could count at the time. Once confronted about this she revised her website to show 26 dogs which is still an unmanagable amout of dogs for someone with so many things on her plate. Mrs. Rogers is raising 3 small children and also breeds Irish setters, and horses. She has refused to right this situation stating that she did not breed them so she could not gaurantee them. She also states that the female that died was never sick a day in her life (3 1/2 years) and I had already had her for 6 weeks so she was not responsible.
I have spoken with several others who have dealt with Mrs. Rogers directly and visited her home. Each person has given a very poor report of her living conditions and lack of any dogs aside from the one they were interested in. I believe Katie Rogers of Kountry Thyme Terriers is running a puppy Mill. Buyer beware!
Brian Stillings
This page is dedicated to you! The first person to steal a Jack Russell from me. Congratulations Brian, William, Bill or whatever new name you may be selling your puppies under today, you are the worst of the worst!
Mr. Stillings entered into a contract with me 2 years ago. It was understood that I would get two breedings in exchange for my male and Mr. Stillings would be requiered to have him neutered upon completion of our contract.
When I thought my female was ready to breed I contacted Mr. Stillings and he did bring Remington to me for the breeding. After several days I realized my female was having a "False heat" and returned my male to Mr. Stillings. He then wrote an email to me accusing me of lieing about the breeding since I'd posted that I had a planned litter and hadn't updated my website yet. I have not been able reach him since. There was never a breeding.
Mr. Stillings has had several different phone numbers and names posted on his ads to sell unregistered long leg Jack Russells by his female who is unregistered and known by the name of "Angie". He breeds her every six months. He also breeds American Bull Dogs.
I have had four different people contact me concerning his puppies. Three of the four were looking for new homes for their puppies and called me because they could not reach Mr. Stillings and had no contract with him, but remembered he had mentioned Funny River Russells.
I helped place the first two they had been placed with people who lived in an apartment or town house. Long Legged Jacks do not do well in this type of environment! The third one I took in. She had Obssesive Compulsive Disorder with balls. She was closed in a room with two cats throughout the day while her owners were at work so she thought she was one! She was terrified of dogs, soiled her crate every night, and had a serious submissive peeing problem. These traits are genetic.
The other person that contacted me is very happy with her little boy and just wanted some info concerning my male, Remington, prior to purchasing her new pup.
